A two-faced match with the Pumas dominating the midfield in the first half and freeing their wings in front of our goalkeeper too easily, the 3s were two goals down at the end of the first half when the skipper gave his feedback: "simply what I saw are not us, we are still on the A3, let's come back on the pitch and play how we know, pressing their midfield and let our wings create opportunities and shorts"
By slightly changing the game structure, due to the injury to Paul Fisher, more time on the pitch for our young players allowed us to score our first goal with our right wing collecting a short clearance from the opposing goalkeeper and after having won six short corners, reaching the equalizer with a precise shot from Chris Bott. Still twelve minutes to play to the end with the 3s coming closer to the win a couple of times, one in particular with an exceptional save from Puma's keeper with the bench already celebrating. Next Alton are coming to visit us at Bedales.
